The kitchen team are in all day, producing snacks as well as three course menus.
You can choose to eat in either our dining room, main bar or cocktail bar, with a wide selection of food available, including a children’s menu and of course we can offer smaller versions of many of our menu dishes.
All the menus utilizes fresh local produce to create simple yet exceptional dishes. Our aim is to create a special menu that changes with the season, highlighting the best of what we have around us.
Small cocktail bar at the front of the building is the ideal place to get away from the bustle of the street and enjoy a light lunch, the fire is lit throughout the Winter months.
Main bar is pet friendly and we welcome all as long as they’re well behaved. A new wood burning stove warms the room on cold nights.
The dining room and lounge are open for breakfast and again for dinner, with spaces for small private gathering and the larger party.
The same menu is available throughout all our dining areas.

The hotel and all rooms are currently in a refurbishment program with the new owners of the hotel. We hope to bring The Kings Arms into the twenty first Century whilst still retaining much of the beautiful character of the original building. We hope to continue offering warmth and hospitality to both the weary traveller and locals alike.
