Meallard, Isle of Barra – Located just over two miles from the main town of Castlebay, and overlooks the tranquil Brebhig bay, the property is the last house on the Brebhig road adding to it’s tranquil location. A recent build finished to a high standard.

Accommodation
The accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 family room with a king size and single bed plus en suite, 1 family room with double and single bed and the third room is a twin. Also included are tea and coffee making facilities, sky freeview and fresh linen and towels.
Large Continental breakfast to set you up for the day.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meallard. Mairi gave us such a warm and friendly welcome, extremely hospitable and kind. Our room was extremely comfortable, clean and with gorgeous views! What a great way to start our Hebridean Cycle. Breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer
I went with a friend to Mairi MacLean’s home in June 2018 for two nights. We found a very well-led B&B in wonderful location, a fresh large room (it was the “family room”) in perfect condition, incredible quiet surroundings close to a dream bay. We are completely happy having chosen that stay, hoping to return one day. Highly recommended!
My partner and myself stayed here last year and we had a great time. Lovely family run B&B. The views from the rooms are stunning. Breakfast set us up for the rest of the day. We would highly recommend a stay here. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
